We are looking to grow our substitute pool. With two adults in the Montessori classroom, substitutes are brought into the classroom in the role of the classroom assistant. In this role, they help to support the classroom as directed by the staff member leading the class. Substitutes may be booked for pre-planned staff absences or for same-day assignments.
Duties may include: assist with classroom management, guiding students during the work period to make successful choices and stay engaged, recess supervision, arrival, and dismissal, etc.

Do you love supporting kids and working behind the scenes to help things run smoothly? Are you organized, dependable, and passionate about healthy food and community? Ridgeline Montessori is looking for a Meal Coordinator to join our team and lead our school meal service with care and consistency.
Each day, our students serve themselves 75–85 breakfasts and 85–105 lunches from pre-prepared meals provided by the 4J School District. These meals are picked up from a nearby kitchen, then organized, portioned, and made available through our self-serve food carts and cold and hot bar system. The Meal Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring students receive safe, nourishing, and well-managed meals while also supporting food safety, compliance, and the welcoming culture of our school.
Pick up meals from the 4J School District site each morning
Safely handle and organize hot and cold foods for student service
Set up food carts, warmers, and salad bar stations
Track and label meals, including those with dietary restrictions
Support students during meal service and assist with ID entry at point-of-sale
Complete all meal production logs and reports accurately
Monitor and maintain food safety standards and kitchen cleanliness
Establish and model respectful behavior expectations around food service areas
Coordinate regularly with our operations team and nutrition services liaison
Attention to detail and commitment to food safety
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
Clear communication and teamwork skills
A calm, friendly presence who enjoys supporting students
Someone who can lift and carry up to 30 lbs and work on their feet
Reliability, punctuality, and a sense of ownership in their work
Valid Oregon driver’s license
Reliable transportation for daily meal pickups
Must pass a background check
Oregon Food Handler’s Card (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
