Dmitria's Class News, May 28, 2010
As the year continues to slide too quickly to an end, I feel the need to quote what my bilingual niece, who said, at age 3 or 4, on her first airplane flight - "Here we go...vamos rapido!"
Our trip to Honeyman was wonderful, despite the rain, and we owe it all to the parents who volunteered items, money, or their time for this great event. The cost for Tumalo State Park will be substantially cheaper than anticipated since I spent a lot less for Honeyman. The price will be about the same, to cover all bases, and any leftover funds we have in our class budget will be spent on a Bowling trip the last week of school!
We are now approaching our second, and longer, class trip, to Eastern Oregon. Please expect paper permission slips on Tuesday, since Monday is a holiday with no school. Friday, June 11 there is no school since it is a report card writing day.
Also, please remember to bring in your $75 for student supplies!! If you need assistance please contact the office and payment plans can be set up.
Thanks for all the help to make Honeyman wonderful and we will have another great experience at Tumalo in ten days!
